44th Humanitarian Aid Transport by Ukrainehilfe Lippe-Bielefeld – Aid from Germany Is Once Again on Its Way to Ukraine

Kostopil, Ukraine / Bielefeld, Germany, August 28, 2026

Although the full-scale war has now been going on for more than four and a half years, people in Ukraine continue to fight every day for their lives, their families, their cities, and their freedom.

Russian missile and drone attacks, the destruction of infrastructure, and the constant threat of violence are leaving deep scars. Those who are most vulnerable are suffering particularly severely: elderly people, families with children, the wounded, hospitals, and social institutions.

That is why Ukrainehilfe Lippe-Bielefeld is once again on the road.

🚛 The 44th humanitarian aid transport has successfully departed for Ukraine.

This is already the sixth humanitarian aid transport organized by our initiative in 2026.

Once again, the truck has been loaded with items that are urgently needed in Ukraine today:

  • 💊 Medicines, bandages, and medical equipment
  • ♿ Wheelchairs and walking aids
  • 🔥 Fire extinguishers
  • 🏫 School furniture and computer equipment
  • 🪑 Furniture and office equipment
  • 👕 Good-quality, gently used clothing
  • 🧸 Toys for children

In Kostopil, the aid will be received by Nataliya Didenko and her team from the partner organization “Hands of Hope and Care.”

Thanks to their work, every donation is documented, and the aid is distributed transparently and purposefully to those who need it most: families in need, hospitals, social institutions, and other organizations.

❤️ Special Thanks to Our Partners

This transport was once again made possible thanks to the tremendous support of people, businesses, and institutions in Germany.

Evangelische Kliniken Bethel (EvKB) provided several urgently needed intensive-care beds.

The District of Lippe (Kreis Lippe) donated a large quantity of school furniture as well as used computer equipment for Ukrainian schools and medical facilities.

Special thanks also go to Markus Wendler and PVM, who, as with many previous transports, once again donated wheelchairs and walking aids.

This time, Markus Wendler also responded to a special request from a Ukrainian serviceman who suffered severe injuries during the war and donated an electric wheelchair for him.

🙏 These are not simply material goods. They are assistance that gives people back mobility, dignity, and a small part of a normal life.

🇺🇦 We Have Not Forgotten Ukraine

We are deeply moved by the courage, resilience, and strength of the Ukrainian people.

Even under the most difficult circumstances, Ukrainians continue to live, work, provide medical care, educate their children, and support one another.

We must remember that behind every statistic are real people – mothers and fathers, children, grandparents, doctors, rescue workers, and soldiers.

That is why our support will continue.

Through our humanitarian aid transports, we want to send a clear message to the people of Ukraine:

You are not alone. We stand with you. We have not forgotten you. ❤️

Our sincere thanks go to all citizens, businesses, organizations, clubs, and institutions that support our work.

Every donation – large or small – makes a difference.

Every wheelchair, every box of medicines, every fire extinguisher, and every school desk delivered to Ukraine represents concrete help for real people.

The humanitarian crisis is not over. Ukraine still urgently needs our support. Together, we can do more.
Together, we can help those who need it most.
Together, we show that solidarity knows no borders.
